waingroove wooden holds...route of power.

i recently turned 32 and for my birthday i was given a set of holds spelling out my business name 'waingroove'. these were made by rab anderson (junes dad), who has carved them out of old oak - good long lasting, tight grained wood.
they are taking a bit of bedding in, but they are a joy to hold after the abrasive feel of the resin holds - you have to be aware that after a few goes they get a bit sweaty, but good holds - the route is a belter, but no pictures until i've crushed it!

the raw product.

nice wrapping - "guns don't kill people, wrapping does!"

any bespoke requests for hand carved climbing holds - just give me a shout.
